Passive Infra Red (PIR)
A movement detector which is normally installed in the main
rooms of a premises, it cannot see through glass, and has a coverage of up to 15 metres.
PIR's are not suitable for rooms where pets are kept. |

Inertia Sensor
A vibration detector, installed on door/window frames,
it can detect a break-in attempt before the window/door is broken. A suitable sensor for
protecting a room in which a pet is kept.

As PIR with the addition of microwave detection, used
in conservatories, warehouses or anywhere where the environment is cold, hot or subject to
drafts. |
Panic Button
A Button that if pushed will activate the alarm, in a
set or un-set state, usually installed adjacent to the front door, or in the bedroom. |
